Aadya celebrated her first birthday on August 04, 2020.
Her birthday was to be celebrated grandly by inviting a lot of people. However, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was restricted to a family event held at home.
Though it was a small event we tried to celebrate it with a lot of pomp and fervor.
We ordered a custom theme cake from Divya. Divya runs Itsy bitsy bytes – Homemade customized cakes. She has been providing these customized cakes for some time to us, and they have always been awesome. This was a red velvet cake.
Aadya received awesome gifts from her aunts and uncle (they are also kids, but are Apritha’s cousins, so aunts :D) They went to a lot of trouble to get the awesome gifts and Aadya was very happy. The gift pack had chocolates, stuffed toys, macrons, Aadya’s pictures, awesome popcorn, a calendar with Aadya’s pictures and what not.
We decorated the house with helium balloons. The only guests were Priya and Charitha, who stay close by.
